Plainfield Project, Henri Gates, DJ Dynamik, DJ Mateo, Slanguage and Breakdancers all at the CofC Dance Marathon tonight!!
Participants are asked to raise at least $150 over five months and then celebrate by joining an all night Dance Marathon. The event occurs over night for 15 hours inside the Carolina First Arena and includes bands, games, DJs, and tons of great food. In the morning, participants perform a 6 minute "Morale Dance" learned over the course of the night for the children from the hospital and their families. At the closing participants reveal the total amount of money raised. It's all for the kids!
Dance Marathon is the largest philanthropic event on campus, raising money for the MUSC Children's Hospital.
